What to say to win her back after hurting her

While there are no magic words or gestures to win her back after you’ve hurt her, starting with an apology is always a great idea.

If you were the cause of the issue, admitting you were wrong and taking responsibility is the first of the grand gestures for her that you should try.

You do not need to make the apology a big deal and refrain from causing a public scene, which can cause her more embarrassment.

Instead, a grand gesture to win her back should begin with saying, ‘I’m sorry’ and truly meaning it.

Being able to admit you are wrong goes a long way when looking for gestures to win her back, showing great maturity.

It is challenging to admit we have faults, and being able to do so says a lot about your character.

10 best romantic gestures to win her back after hurting her

If your intentions are pure and you are still trying to come up with romantic gestures to win her back, this article can help.

While there are no guarantees for the heart, women love romance.

A woman wants to know that her guy is not afraid to stand up and shout out his love for her, regardless of who hears it.

She wants to feel special. She wants to know she is loved.

If you are truly concerned with how to win her back and want to find the best romantic gestures to win her back, this list of grand gestures for her might help.

If you’ve hurt your partner and are trying to win her back, here are ten romantic gestures to win her back that might help:

1. Start with a heartfelt apology

A good apology will express your regret and take full responsibility for your actions.

According to Licensed Professional Counselor Christiana Njoku,

The courage to take responsibility for your actions and apologize for treating her the way you did is a way to win her back into your life.

You want to show her how much you care and are willing to do whatever it takes to make things right.

If you don’t feel like you can tell her to her face, write your apology in a letter. Sometimes a letter works best since it is more permanent and can be a constant reminder that keeps you in line.

2. Cook her a special meal

If you are looking for grand gestures for her, why not cook her favorite meal, even if she is not speaking to you? Food is the way to anyone’s heart.

Show her that you’re trying to make her feel special and loved.

Even if you have to send the meal rather than share it in person, the flavors of the food are sure to melt her heart as the food melts in her mouth.

Cooking her favorite meal is a great way to show her how much you care.

3. Give her a thoughtful gift and some space

Surprise her with a thoughtful gift that shows you’ve been paying attention to what she likes but give her the space she needs right now. Pick up her favorite flowers or a book by her favorite author that you know she wants to read.

Just be sure to give her your gift without any expectations at all. Showering a girl with gifts is not guaranteed to win her back.

Allow her to enjoy the present on her own, without pressure, and she will be grateful.

4. Focus on change

Spend time doing things that help you become a better person. Big romantic gestures to win her back mean nothing if you are the same person you were before the split.

Zone in on the problem that caused the breakup and start working to fix that aspect of yourself. If you struggle to change or feel you cannot manage, couples therapy can help you pinpoint the problem and find a solution.

Changing yourself for the better is one of the best big romantic gestures to win her back.

5. Understand the issue and make a plan

While candy and diamonds can go a long way as romantic gestures for her, nothing says ‘I want to be better’ more than an effort to solve the problem.

Showing that you want to understand what went wrong and avoid it in the future tells her that her happiness is important to you and there are no greater grand gestures for her.

6. Refrain from placing blame

Men often think big romantic gestures to win her back should be shrouded in blame. Refrain from over-explaining and simply accept that what you did was wrong.

Research shows that placing blame on each other and not being accountable for your actions in a relationship can negatively affect the health of a relationship.

When trying to apologize, there should never be a ‘but.’ You are either sorry or you are not. There is no other option.

7. Do something selfless

Doing something selfless shows that you’re willing to go above and beyond to make her happy.

Selflessness is a great tool in bettering yourself as a person and in your quest for romantic gestures to win her back. Helping others often has a funny way of helping us as well.

Big romantic gestures to win her back can easily backfire if she is a private person or is not over the pain you caused.

Avoid singing a love song to her in front of all her family and friends. Instead, find real, long-lasting romantic gestures to win her back and show her that you have changed by being patient and bettering yourself.

10. Be open and honest

Have an open and honest conversation about how you feel and what you think about your relationship.

Talk to her about your feelings, goals, and what you both want for the future.

The best grand gestures for her are those that come from the heart and honestly represent how you feel.

Having meaningful conversations with her about your feelings and your thoughts has a way of making her understand you better.
