You might think that your relationship is a great one and that you have found the most suited partner. Then, when he or she asks to marry you, you might say yes without any hesitation. However, have you ever thought that after marriage, the person you thought was amazing might turn out to be the exact opposite, putting your marriage in jeopardy?

It is no secret that many partners only show their true colors after the wedding. Imagine being married to someone that doesn’t respect and cherish you or provides you with the things you need. So, when your partner pops the question, how can you be sure that he or she is the one you are willing to spend the rest of your life with?   

Give love some time. First decide if the guy you have taken an interest in deserves your life, love, and time or not. Look at the following 15 habits and don’t marry the man who always does these 15 things.

1. Controls who you see

If your partner has a problem with you seeing your friends, particularly those of the opposite sex, then you should think twice about marrying him. Remember, you need to have your own space and you must be able to communicate openly with others too.

2. Determines your appearance

If your partner wants you to look just like he wants you too, then marriage is a big no. For instance, he shouldn’t be the one dictating the dress you wear, the shoes you buy, and the way you cut your hair. There is no need to change for someone and if he fell in love with you like he claims, then he should love your appearance too.

3. He has anger issues

Think twice about marrying a man if he gets angry without any reason. If your man has anger issues, then you will always be nervous around him.

4. Lack of interest in you

You should say no to marriage if your partner is not interested in your hobbies, interest, or even your life. A good partner is one that supports the other person in the relationship.

5. He is not fond of your friends or family

While he is a part of your life, so are your friends and family. If he doesn’t respect them, then he has no respect for you too. It is a sign that he is not a good life partner and would only bring negativity in your life.

6. Lack of friends

Of course, it is good if your partner wants to spend a lot of time with you. However, you should also think about why he has no friends.

7. Laughs at you

If your partner laughs at you in public, marriage is a big no since it is quite embarrassing.  

8. Controls your time

Reconsider marrying your partner if he controls the amount of time you spend with friends or family.

9. Chooses porn over you

You don’t want someone who would rather watch pornography than spend time with you as your life partner.

10. Constant lies

Insignificant or small lies that are told for one’s betterment can be justified and forgiven; however, lies that are repeated and have a negative impact on your relationship are not even excusable. The relationship is all about trust and lies only breaks the trust between the two.

11. No respect for his own family

If your partner doesn’t respect his family, then there is a high chance he doesn’t respect you too. You are the individual you are because of your family, and you just can’t simply forget them. If he, for any weak reason hates his family like his family is annoying, then he is not the right person to marry. After marriage comes family and you can’t expect someone to start a family if he can’t cope with the one he already has.

12. No respect for others

You should also think twice about marrying who don’t respect others, particularly those that are beneath him, like the service staff.

13. He humiliates you

Your partner is not the ideal candidate for marriage if he makes you a target of physical or moral humiliation.

14. Constantly mentions the ex

If your parent hasn’t forgotten his ex-girlfriend, then he will most likely not be sincere with you. If he constantly mentions her, then it is a sign that he is not over her, which means that he won’t be able to commit to you entirely.

15.  He gives a vibe that he is not the right person

If you, at a subconscious level, feel that he is not the person you should be marrying, then simply say no instead of regretting it later. It would only be a big risk.
