I am a Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Brooklyn for over thirty years and formally Director of Family Services at a large Multi-modal private counseling center in Manhattan. Although continuing to work with individuals, for the last twenty years my continuing trauing and focus has been on Couples and Families as it became increasing clear that engaging the family was more efficient and effective. This comes from not only having more information but from being able to mobilize the inherent strength of the family and its intrinsic and natural movemnt towards growth.
