I work with adults and couples who are struggling with issues related to relationships, depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. Many of my clients come to therapy because they are struggling to make the progress they want in their lives. Couples are often serious about creating change but aren't sure how to resolve issues or bring their relationship to the next level. I create a safe space where you can experience your emotions.
I use a holistic approach, with evidence-based interventions such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Hypnotherapy. These methods have been shown to aid in alleviating symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, chronic pain and grief.
My own journey as a New York City Firefighter and Peer Counselor has helped me to understand the places my clients are coming from, the frustrations and difficulties they are facing, and the emotions they are trying to understand and overcome.
