Robyn Flores, MS, LMFT-A, LPC-C, is a licensed therapist in Texas and Colorado, supervised by Heather McPherson, LPC-S, LMFT-S, CST. She is currently working toward her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision. Robyn is part of the Sexual Health Alliance certification program on her way to earning certification as a Sex Therapist. She provides a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to process their experiences and concerns. She believes that therapy is a place for collaboration, creativity, exploration, and growth and that taking the first step in reaching out for therapeutic assistance is a courageous and vulnerable effort in the healing process. Robyn embraces a Humanistic, Person-Centered philosophy but also eclectically implements interventions such as mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, and techniques from Narrative Therapy. In addition, she is certified as an Eating Disorder Intuitive Therapy® Clinician and is trained in Humanistic Sandtray Therapy through the Sandtray Therapy Institute.

Robyn has been a co-presenter at the Texas Counseling Association’s Annual Conference, educating licensed practitioners and medical professionals on various types of relationships and Sex Therapy and has enjoyed guest lecturing for college courses and groups on sexual issues, body image, parenting, and families in recovery from substance use and co-occurring disorders. Robyn has experience working with individuals, relationships, and families with a variety of concerns and presentations including eating disorders, negative body image, low self-esteem, substance use, depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and sexual issues. She has a heart for those who find themselves at the intersection of body image issues and sexual concerns and works with clients to explore and regain confidence and meaning in their sexuality and relationships. She enjoys collaborating with clients to challenge societal norms to transform narratives, empowering clients to use their voice for change.
