30 years ago, when I was a young psychotherapist working in Elizabeth, Colorado I was just beginning to see the power of the therapeutic relationship. Through my career, I have helped many people move through a crisis, find clarity in confusion, seize opportunities for growth, and learn to thrive. All these years later, I deeply believe that people have the capacity to grow and change.

As a psychotherapist, I have been trained in what can be condensed as two different approaches to therapy. I use training in psychodynamic, systems and attachment theory to go deep and analyze how you became the person you are today. And, I also use cognitive behavioral tools and goal oriented therapy to help you look for solutions. But the real power comes when these two different “approaches” combine. We can work to understand who you are at your core to make positive changes in your life today.

My masters degree is in Community Counseling Psychology from Kent State University. I have two years of post-graduate training in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Family Therapy Training Institute in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
