I work with couples navigating a wide range of challenges: chronic high-conflict patterns, emotional distance, betrayal, grief, the strain of chronic illness, and the ways that individual struggles like anxiety, trauma, or addiction ripple into a partnership. I welcome LGBTQ+ couples, those in alternative lifestyle and non-traditional relationship structures, and couples in high-conflict patterns. Many of my clients look solid from the outside but are privately wondering whether what they have can be saved.
My approach is warm, active, and tailored to the two of you. I draw on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you understand the attachment needs driving your patterns, and the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) to work with the deeper biological and emotional responses that keep you both stuck. Together, we slow things down, make space for what's really happening beneath the surface, and begin rebuilding trust—with each other and within yourselves.
