I work from an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) perspective when I work with couples. My goal is to help partners develop a deeper understanding of their own dynamics, how these contribute to feeling connected with or distanced from loved ones, and how subtle communication challenges may inadvertently prevent the closeness they long for with one another. I hope to increase mutual understanding and compassion, work to rebuild trust and healthy communication habits, and work through the specific challenges each couple brings to therapy. I also work with a therapy dog, a golden retriever named Lexi Waffles.
