I began working in the mental health field in 1982 as a crisis counselor with a primary focus on alcohol and drug prevention. I worked part-time as a Life Coach/Mentor (Cherie Blair's Foundation for Women) while working full-time in the financial sector for more than 25 years. Now, I bring a very balanced, real-life approach to assisting Couples their therapeutic goals. Working under the supervision of Gail K. Byrnes, LMFT, I strive to assist clients in achieving a deeper sense of understanding, awareness, empathy, and connectedness within their relationships.
I use a collaborative approach to working with clients, building upon clients' strengths to achieve therapeutic goals. I enjoy helping clients of all ages to grow and develop, both as individuals and within relationships, in order to more easily navigate their life changes and difficulties. I am trained in Gottman's Couple's Therapy.
