Finding the right therapist can be as overwhelming as the problem you're seeking help for. For the last 15 years, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals and couples on relationship issues spanning from communication to separation and divorce. I have learned of the importance of managing my own relationships in the same way that I ask my clients to - digging in and consistently doing my own work. I feel fortunate to have training in the Gottman Method and also ascribe to some Emotionally Focused Therapy techniques and attachment concepts. Coming from a Feminist Multicultural Perspective has allowed me to work with couples and individuals of different sexual orientations, identities and designs taking into account the nuanced challenges of each unique relationship. I feel very lucky to do such important with with my clients, knowing that developing connection with the self and others is one of life's greatest accomplishments.
