I approach marrige and relationship counseling from a systems perspective. That means I prepfer to work with the couple together. I develop a strong working relationship with each partner and then collaborate with them to find resolution to their concerns, allowing both to feel validated and optimistic about their future. I work with couples at all stages of relationship with special expertise with older and remarried coouples.
I am a retired Army Psychologist with deployments to Afghanisran and Iraq. I also specialize in the problems of military families.
In cases where resolution is not possible, I work to help the couple separate with the least possible harm to children and to each other.
