I have over twenty years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and families as a teacher, counselor, health care worker, and therapist in a variety of settings including schools, agencies, non-profits, private practice, and hospitals. My unique education, training, and years of experience allow me to understand the concerns and issues that adults, teens, relationships, and families face.

My approach is both directive and accepting. I am a client-centered therapist. I can help solve problems that can take years to resolve on their own by teaching new skills and giving homework to practice in between sessions. At the same time, I work together with clients on the goals, pace, and intensity of their counseling sessions with me. I do not "fix" people. I look for what is going right and help you or your relationship do more of it.
