Carla provides treatment utilizing empirically-based modalities, which means that all therapies have been researched and tested and found effective and valid. She utilizes a blend of treatment providing a holistic approach by exploring with the client and educating them about how mind, spirit and body are interconnected through client-focused and solution-focused therapies. By using skill-based therapies, such as DBT, CBT and ACT, in combination with psychoeducation, these approaches can provide people hope and they can learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, and make it possible for people to experience change.
