Bri graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2008 with a bachelors degree in Business and Health and minor in Psychology; and a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University in 2015.
Bri is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and has spent a large portion of her career working with child victim’s of sexual abuse. Bri also worked for many years with victims of domestic violence (and their children)and provided TF-CBT to child victims of sexual and physical abuse, neglect, and child welfare; as well as their non-offending caregivers and family members. Bri provides Individual, family, group and couples counseling. Bri has also worked with at-risk youth and sexually reactive children.
Bri treats clients of all ages and especially loves working with teens, trauma victims, adult victims of childhood sexual abuse, depression, PTSD, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, personality disorders and Bi-polar disorders, amongst many others. Bri has also provided intense in-home substance abuse counseling in Lee County, working with the child welfare system and DCF. Bri is also an EMDRIA approved EMDR therapist.
Bri loves animals, is a Reiki practitioner, enjoys meditation and traveling. She cares deeply for her clients and has devoted most of her adult life to non-profit centers and helping victims of trauma.
