Hello,
I'm Asha Tarry, a mental health therapist for couples and individuals. I've been in the field of health and human services for almost 20 years providing consultations, psychotherapy, group coaching and community advocacy to adults and children.
My work with individuals is centered on assisting clients in becoming more empowered within themselves and in their relationships, which includes developing stratiegies to address stress, lifestyle habits, mood disorders and trauma.
In working with couples and groups, I work with clients to establish trust and a healthy regard for themselves and their partners or potential partnerships. This includes exploring expectations and standards, roles and responsibilities, abilities and values as well as desires and needs and how to communicate that more clearly and over time, with less fear.
The goal of my work with everyone I serve is to aid others in becoming more cognitively, emotionally and physically mindful. When this occurs, clients tend to report more peacefulness, mental stability, healthier lifestyle practices and happier relationships.
