With my experience in Emotionally Focused Couples therapy, I am able to assist couples in better understanding and communicating with one another. Couples without the proper skills often struggle to effectively communicate and understand how even their own emotional triggers from childhood can affect how they react to their partner. We explore underlying emotions together and how to best communicate them to your partner so you can feel heard and connected. During our sessions, we identify and change negative cycle patterns that are interfering with the relationship, including challenging expectations and beliefs they hold about each other.
