Couples enter counseling for all sorts of reasons. It could be to build their communication to reduce conflict. Maybe one spouse is struggling with stress effecting their relationship. It could be over finances, parenting, sexual intimacy or unresolved past issues. It is common for a couple to have a multitude of issues when making the decision to enter therapy. Therapy sessions will provide the couple with an objective third party who will assist them in discovering a deeper understanding of themselves and each other. The therapy session will be a safe place for couples to share their concerns and feelings. Where the therapist will support and assist the couple in being heard and understood and then guide, provide, education and support the couple in learning better skills to improve their relationship and have a stronger union.
