I have developed a unique approach to helping individuals and couples restore and strengthen their romantic bonds. As the romantic pair is an intimate bond whose strength is based on the couple turning to one another for their deepest emotional needs and sexual intimacy. When the couple can turn to one another for their intimacy needs, their strong bond keeps them closely connected and helps assure fidelity.
Experiencing trust and safety within the relationship are the foundational elements that permit a pair to turn toward one another for their emotional and sexual needs.
Therefore, my work in helping couples restore and strengthen their romantic bond is based on addressing and repairing trust and safety issues. The couple can deepen their emotional and sexual intimacy as trust and safety return.
With this view in mind, my role as a couple's counselor is to help couples create safety and deepen trust. This permits them to be vulnerable to one another so that emotional and sexual intimacy expression can easily occur.
