Tammy approaches her work from the belief that it can be enhanced and far more meaningful if done through a Christian worldview. She has attended American Association of Christian Counselors conferences. The workshops, covering a variety of clinical topics, have fueled her passion for Christian counseling. She is a member of AACC. Tammy's specific areas of training and interest include family therapy, parenting issues, and couples therapy. When working with children, Tammy emphasizes the need and value of caregiver involvement, knowing that a child alone cannot change in any sustainable manner unless his/her environment changes also. When addressing couple's issues, it's imperative to have both partners at the table to making any lasting change. Tammy tailors treatment to meet the needs of each person or family she serves and strives to ensure each client feels valued and respected.
