I'm a licensed couples and family therapist and have worked in private practice and agency settings for more than 15 years. My office is in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood, and I also provide telemental health through a secure portal (doxy.me). In working with couples or individuals focused on relationship issues, I use an Emotionally Focused Therapy approach. We identify your unsatisfying or damaging patterns of interaction and the underlying feelings that drive each of your responses within the dynamic. We then work to create safety to express those feelings in a way that deepens the connection and improves your relationship.
I also help couples heal relationship injuries, both current and past, including infidelities. Grief and loss and parenting issues are also specialty areas of mine.
