Making the decision to begin counseling can seem difficult and overwhelming. My goal is to provide a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment for us to explore things in your life that have been bothering you. I believe once you better understand yourself, it is easier to explore why you do the things you do and what to do to change this in order to live the life you want.
I have spent most of my professional career working in the substance abuse field and enjoy being able to help people in recovery as well as their families. I am trained in EMDR which is a specialized form of treatment for trauma which operates under the belief that healing past wounds will allow us to live more fulfilling futures.
