Hello,
My name is Sarah Sheffield, MA, CRC, TTS.
I am a therapist and doctoral candidate in the heart of Tampa, FL serving our community with a specialization in child welfare, substance abuse, disordered eating, domestic violence, translational research, and tobacco cessation.
As a prior child protective investigator and current scholar completing research with children services, our practice is specifically tailored to meet the needs of first responders and those who have exited the system of care; holding a deep understanding of transition age services, substance use, disordered eating, and domestic violence. Our practice uses a person-centered, DBT approach to engage clients in a non-judgmental therapeutic relationship while challenging cognitive distortions and provide alternate, healthy coping resources.
