I do challenge my clients by bringing up a different point of view or simply calling them out on what is not working. And we can all agree that we may need that sometimes! I constantly ask my clients for their feedback in their treatment goals and educate clients in why setting a treatment goal is important for their progress.
I use Emotion Focused Therapy, and focus on the couple's interaction, versus the content, and focus on how this may be damaging on how the couple connects. By implementing this approach, it helps couples improve their communication skills, intimacy and connection, and develops a stronger sense of security.
I also specialize in working with premarital couples and offer different packages. I offer both in person packages and online relationship classes for couples who are looking to learn all the essential skills for healthy and happy relationship.
