I am a Licensed Counselor and Psychotherapist (LMHC) in Queen Anne, Seattle. I work with adults, both individually and in couples counseling. My approach to therapy is grounded in the relational and psychodynamic traditions. I see psychotherapy as a process that allows us to move closer to a more whole version of ourselves, and into more fulfilling relationships. Through this therapeutic lens I work with patients around relationships, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and other psychological concerns.
Sessions will focus on your emotional experience, past and present relationships, uncover patterns, and look closely at how your unique past and personality may be informing your present self, struggles, and difficulties.
Originally from Scotland, I have called Seattle home since 2015. I hold a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwest University, and a Master of Arts (Hons.) in Psychology from the University of Dundee (Scotland).
