I am a Columbia University trained psychotherapist currently accepting new patients for online video sessions. I have studied, practiced, and taught psychotherapy for 20 years. This includes extended time as a clinical supervisor and professor, supervising psychotherapists working on permanent licensure.
I provide a non-judgmental environment, utilizing a caring and collaborative approach to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered. My objective is to provide an environment where you can trust that I am there with you to accomplish your goals and alleviate distress, whether individually or within the family context. I proudly provide culturally competent services as I strive to match your unique needs. With an emphasis on collaboration, I integrate evidence-based methods to offer a personalized approach tailored to your needs. I will meet you as you are and create a safe space to explore your unique inner world. Together we can identify your strengths, change old patterns, increase self-compassion, strengthen coping skills, enhance relationships, and make life much more meaningful. In our first sessions, we will work to establish realistic goals for treatment while unpacking the life experiences and unique history that brought you to therapy.
