Hi, I’m Nate. I run Nate Allen Therapy. I am based in Kansas City and licensed in Kansas and Missouri. I first entered the recovery process in 2010, as a busy touring musician turned workaholic. This led to several years of tear-filled inner work and an eventual career change.

My specialties are working with adults who are dealing with emotional, relational, somatic, & creative blocks, spiritual harm & displacement, enmeshment, addiction, abuse, trauma, men's issues, and people stuck in difficult seasons.

I have training or certification in Trauma Recovery, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Enmeshment, Psychodrama, Spiritual Harm and Displacement, Somatic Healing, Coaching, Creative Unblocking, and much more.

Some of my favorite therapeutic approaches are dynamic, evoking words like introspection, restructuring, collaboration, action, movement, & play.
