Teens-Older Adults. We all get stuck during our journey in life. When couples fight it is because of *fear*. My goal is to help with getting behind the triggers to anger, communication break-downs, and obstacles that lead to dismantling the relationship. Sometimes we just get stuck in old communication patterns and need someone to help us to reframe and clearly see how old coping mechanisms are no longer effective. Even if couples decide to ultimately terminate the marriage, it's still imperative to learn effective coping skills, and to be both responsible and accountable to your relationships. I us a hybrid of theory from Emotional Focused Therapy, Imago Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Humanistic. This safe environment from which we work will be incapusulated within the mind-body-spirit paradigm as we address the ineffective coping mechanisms such as denial, addiction, etc, to maximizing the True Self and doing away with shame and guilt.
