About
When you choose the path of adoption, whether you are reliquinshing your child or starting your family, you engage in a lifelong journey. Adoption is a process that ends with a legal action. Yet, relationships persevere and continue to exist. Navigating these complicated connections and attachments challenges your well-established ideals and values. They even challenge longstanding policies and laws. Many adoptive families have seen the benefit of working with me as I hold a number of key perspectives as a therapist, an international/transracial adoptee, a mental health advocate and have been outspoken about adoption reform, suicide, stigma and child abuse.
