Not all approaches are the same for every couple that is why my foucus could include multiple approaches. In any therapy I provide I start with a cognitive approach to understand each persons world view and how they can communicate focused on understanding one another through their individual lenses. However at times, since we don't live in a vacuum, other issues may need to be addressed so looking at each person therapy may include other avenues of therapeutic processes. My approach is often a mix of CBT, Positive Psycology, Mindfullness skills, Insight-Oriented Therapy and communication coaching.
