Michaela has been in the helping profession for 25+ years. She has worked with individuals and groups in worksites and community-based projects across the US including several projects with the CDC. She holds a master’s degree in Wellness Management and is in the process of completing a second master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
She is a lifelong learner, oriented toward breath work, loving kindness & gratitude through light-hearted laughter, positive & energy psychology, lifestyle medicine, neuromeditation, health education, and health promotion, and has significant experience in EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique (aka Tapping) to address PTSD, stress and anxiety. Recently, she was inducted into the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) and is pursuing additional training in “Parts Work” among other approaches to support clients in their desires to have meaningful, supportive relationships.
