When you think of yourself, you picture a different life than the one you live each day. In it, you are more alive, you accept yourself as you are, and you can make things happen that have great meaning to you. You are not simply enduring another day. And you don’t secretly worry that something’s seriously wrong with you. In THAT life, you haven’t missed the boat.
Up til today, that life, has only lived inside of you. Maybe you haven’t told anyone or even dared to hope it could become reality. But you cant let it go, because you fear that the life you have settled for might be all there is for you. And it’s keeping you up at night.
But you haven’t given up. Something inside keeps you going. Hoping. Wondering. On something more.
And sometimes, something unexpected shakes you to the core. An emotional uprising telling you to act soon! For your health, for your well-being, for your family or simply for your soul. That urgency to do, to be something more awakens all peoples at least once in their life, full of all the fears and possibilities it contains.
But you can’t. You won’t. Big, important risks? It’s just too much. You know logically it would be better for you and everyone around. And your reluctance isn’t sound. Yet, you just cant seem to move. Bottom line is, you are afraid to fail. And if you don’t succeed, you will end up so crushed and defeated it will show you and the world that you weren’t good enough in the first place. In fact, you may already feel so defeated because you have already tried and failed once before. So, we settle. We live the life we have and tell ourselves it doesn’t really matter that much anyways.
But what if things are different this time?
The journey of a thousand miles begins with one wonderful step. Call me. You’ll be glad you did.
