She has worked in the behavioral health, helping couples and families, and substance abuse field for the past decade. She has experience working with various populations and socioeconomic statuses in community-based behavioral health care/substance abuse treatment organizations. She has extensive education, training, and experience in the field of substance abuse/addictions. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, certified Parenting Instructor and a Batterers Intervention Facilitator with the state of Florida. As a family therapist, she is able to integrate her knowledge of education and mental health issues to help families’ problem-solve, overcome personal issues, and create lasting change for a better tomorrow. She uses a holistic approach where healing of the mind, body, and spirit is a priority for successful treatment.
