I provide a safe place for couples to share feelings, to learn new coping skills, to connect, and tell their personal stories. I offer a Betrayal Trauma and Forgiveness approach for Couples experiencing a personal hurt or betrayal in their relationship. Couples may also explore the unconscious Roots of marital problems. During couples counseling, the couple and therapist explore past experiences in order to change distorted perceptions and thoughts to eliminate irrational reactions to current events. Individual counseling is highly recommended as a precursor to couples therapy.
