It can be difficult to know what to do when your child or teenager is experiencing behavioral, emotional or social problems. You may feel helpless, isolated or overwhelmed, but you do not have to work though it alone. I may be able to help. As a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), I have specialized training and have worked with many children experiencing behavioral problems, divorce, depression, anxiety, grief, abuse, adoption, relational problems, academic issues, trauma, and more. My specialty is working with families and children to process through these difficult issues.
I have had extensive training in EMDR, a brain-based approach to resolving trauma and Play Therapy, a developmentally appropriate approach to working with children. Because of my extensive training I am able to specifically tailor the therapeutic intervention to meet the individual needs of each client and their family.
As a Registered Play Therapist, I will provide you and your child a safe, warm and accepting environment to work on the troubling issues you are experiencing. Together we will work towards understanding your child more and providing ways for you and your child to be empowered through the process.
