Relationships can be a lot of work! They don't show that in the romantic comedies and that "happily ever after" has its rough moments too. Especially now... in the middle of a global pandemic... during unprecedented times. Relationships can also be a lot of fun and i want to help you get to those moments of joy, communication, and togetherness. I use a warm and collaborative approach when working with the couples I see. I want to understand patterns of behavior and help you find ways to communicate and deepen your relationship. I work with parents who have been so busy with child rearing, they forget why/how they got together in the first place. I also work with diverse couples including LGBTQ. Using Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and doing values-work (what is important to you? What are areas in your life you want to expand?) we can help you find a way forward.
