I believe that clients deserve therapists who are specially trained and experienced in the areas of counseling they seek. I begin marriage counseling by listening to my clients goals, and then providing clients a process and set of skills to meet their goal(s). I have received specialized training in trauma, Gottman Couples Method (Level 3), IMAGO Therapy, EFT, and mediation. In understanding the clients’ goals, I teach, model and provide feedback and non-judgmental practice of new skills to develop a deeper connection and more fulfilling relationship. It is important that all be treated with respect, compassion and evidence-based skills to provide couples the opportunities to heal, grow and thrive.
