Theoretical Orientation and Approach
I use holistic approaches to address the treatment for couples, families, and individuals. Systems Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Individual Psychology Therapy treatments are utilized for couples, families, and individuals to address marriage distress, parenting struggles, parent-child and sibling relationships, coupleship discourse (all orientations), autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, self esteem, and social skill development concerns. I am a firm believer that relationships and connection are intrinsic to personal development and each person’s values are important in the development of a course of treatment based on the goals and desired outcome clients have selected. I understand treatment and professional development are akin and ever growing; as new evidence-based treatments are learned and developed, and as they match client needs, they will be utilized for treatment.
