About
“Be kind. For everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.” – Ian Maclaren.
I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in Arkansas. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, helping them to reduce vulnerability and improve insight. I help couples to increase intimacy, respect, and affection. I also work with adults, helping them make lifestyle changes to reduce the risk for disease.
As a counselor, I believe every person and couple area one-of-a-kind and deserves a safe, non-judgmental environment to explore and process their experiences. I help you to find purpose and meaning, and in that process, to also achieve a sense of healing and growth.
COUPLES: I have completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and use Gottman Method Couples Therapy in my work with couples. The Gottman Method of Couples Therapy is based on Dr. John Gottman’s research that began in the 1970s and continues to this day. The research has focused on what makes relationships succeed or fail.
This method is designed to help teach specific tools to deepen friendship and intimacy in your relationship. To help you productively manage conflicts, you will be given methods to manage “resolvable problems” and dialogue about “gridlocked” (or perpetual) issues. We will also work together to help you appreciate your relationship’s strengths and to gently navigate through its vulnerabilities.
My current rates are $40 for individual sessions and $55 for couples counseling. Last Updated 3/16/23
