For many of us, our greatest sense of joy, fulfillment and meaning comes from healthy, secure relationships, and our deepest feelings of pain are linked with longing, loneliness, and relationship distress. Relationships are powerful, and this desire for connection is core to who we are.
My work is devoted to helping couples to connect and co-create their sense of joy and meaning. I help couples heal emotional wounds, change hurtful behaviors, and build intimacy, and trust. I am licensed as a marriage counselor, certified as a sex addiction therapist, trained as a trauma therapist, and known as a betrayal specialist. I treat premarital couples, couples struggling with effective communication, couples recovering from infidelity or addiction, and couples who are considering divorce. I also work with individuals who want to get clear on what they really want and need and attract lasting love. My approach is experiential, trauma-sensitive, and informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method, and problem-specific trainings.
