At the heart of my passion for counseling is the care for relationships. I work with families, couples, and individuals to create supportive, safe, and trusting connections. At the beginning of my practice, I worked nearly exclusively with adult women who are struggling with substance abuse. This has created a deep desire within me to also help those struggling with substance abuse and trauma find healthy emotional and spiritual rhythms in life, along with their families. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy to complete this and have seen success! I'll do whatever I can to adjust treatment to my clients needs and work with the family as a support to their growth.
