As a marriage counselor with over 25 years of experience, I learned early on that my clients needed and deserved more than a one-size-fits-all approach. With their needs in mind, my approach to marriage counseling is multi-modal. Being trained and experienced in multiple approaches to counseling allows me to customize the work I do with couples to meet their specific needs. Some of the approaches I used are Gottman, Reflective Listening, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, and Attachment models. My clients consistently say that they also appreciate that I am actively involved in their counseling and most importantly, that they feel it is easy to estbish a rapport with me. Being conversational, they report feeling safe and at ease, no matter how difficult their challenges are. They also report that they appreciate getting results.
