We can all use a little extra help at times. Those who are truly wise make sure to have trusted people in their lives who can help them see new perspectives.
Using an attachment-based approach to therapy, I enjoy helping clients reclaim power in their lives and discover a path through their struggles that they may have never noticed before. I am passionate about working with couples, families, and individuals who are experiencing concerns related to:
anxiety
abuse recovery
trauma/PTSD
OCD
depression
binge-eating
grief & traumatic loss
relationship conflict
parenting
co-parenting/divorce
chronic illness/pain
personality disorders
self-esteem
faith
boundaries
self-assertion
life transitions
issues related to aging
I am a certified Prepare Enrich facilitator and have completed Gottman Level I and II training for couples. I have obtained additional training in Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), grief & traumatic loss, and Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT).
As an experienced group facilitator, I have led family-based groups for traumatic grief, parenting, blended families, and emotional enrichment in the later years. I also have enjoyed the opportunity to speak to groups on topics such as self-care and setting boundaries.
I believe that hope is foundational to mental health. If you are looking for a way to strengthen your hope for a better future, I would be honored to accompany you on your journey.
