I am a bilingual (English and Mandarin Chinese) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am professionally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, solution-focused therapy, Bowen’s theory, Gottman Method, CBT, and more. I have a Master’s degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Marriage and Family Therapy and is currently a third-year PhD candidate in Couples and Family Therapy. I believe that each person is comprised of unique yet charismatic components such as personal upbringings, religious beliefs, and cultural backgrounds, that all contribute to narrate a cohesive personal story. I will tailor my treatment orientations to better serve your individuality. My passion is to help my clients achieve their treatment goals through understanding the misunderstood, discovering hope from the hopelessness, speaking the unspoken, and seeking possibilities through the impossible. I also have a background in the medical field where I have obtained a strong foundational knowledge for medical diagnosis and medications. I understand the intricacy between medical burden and mental health. I endeavor to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where you will have the freedom to discuss anything in any category.
