Carol Barnett is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Kentucky. Dr. Barnett earned both a Master of Social Work and a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. In addition to an extensive background in practicing as a clinical social worker, she has experience as a clinical supervisor, educator, and presenter.
Dr. Barnett is a compassionate psychotherapist with the proven ability to work collaboratively with clients throughout life and as they move through transitions. She is a skilled clinician using evidence-based interventions, including mindfulness, CBT, and DBT, applied through the lens of an insight-oriented approach to treatment.
