Paralyzed, drowning, devastated, broken, stuck. I have heard many of these descriptions in initial appointments with clients. I am then humbled and amazed as these words evolve to relieved, empowered, valued, strong, and resilient as we work together in treatment. I am a marriage and family therapist offering teletherapy and in-person therapy services to my fellow Texans. In treatment, I focus on working with you to develop and maximize your distinct strengths to overcome the concerns you are presently encountering. I use research backed approaches that are uniquely tailored to you.
I have treated a variety of individuals, couples, and families with pressing issues such as depression, anxiety, communication, grief, suicidal thoughts, high stress, trauma, and many other concerns. Additionally, I have had vast experience treating teens with those same concerns, as well as peer relationships, low confidence, poor grades and low motivation.
As an assistant professor of CMFT at TTU, I train future mental and behavioral health therapists. Further, I conduct cutting-edge research related to mental, social, and physical heath as well as sex within couples. I want you to become the best version of yourself.
