My counseling style is simple and straightforward. We all have beliefs about our relationships, our world and ourselves that are often irrational. In order to improve our quality of life, we have to learn to challenge these beliefs. Once we’ve identified the thoughts that are holding us back, we can begin to take the necessary and sometimes uncomfortable steps toward lasting change.
The fundamental issue that most couples have is a lack of healthy communication. Some partners are simply unable to address their problems or are allowing past wounds to interfere with their current relationship. Other couples don’t understand why they seem to keep having the same argument, and their relationship feels stagnant. I aim to create an environment where couples can tackle their issues and learn healthy strategies to grow their relationship.
