Blaise is passionate about helping others live their lives intentionally and authentically. He began personally using mindfulness as a method to reduce stress and anxiety with high athletic and academic demands. He has since taught mindfulness strategies and exercises to athletes and coaches competing in different levels of competition from middle school athletes to the collegiate level. Through increased awareness of the mind and body experience individuals are better able to perform not only in sport and school but in every area of life.
In session, Blaise provides the space for individuals to express themselves, be heard, and explore their experiences. He works with individuals to develop a deeper sense of self-awareness through an integration of mindfulness exercises, goal setting, and imagery.
Blaise earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology specializing in Coaching from Michigan State University. He completed his Master of Arts in Counseling specializing in Sport and Health Psychology from Adler University. He then earned his Doctorate of Education in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Western States. Blaise is also a Certified Mental Performance Consultant through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology.
In his free time, Blaise enjoys spending time with family and friends. Often on the weekends he can be found outdoors; cycling, hiking, or cruising on a lake.
