I am a coffee-loving, taco eating, down to earth Associate Licensed Counselor that serves clients in the Madison County area of Alabama. I have a B.A. in Psychology, a M.S. in Counseling Psychology, a Doctoral-Level Marriage and Family certificate in Family Therapy, and am currently working on a doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I also have extensive work as a trauma therapist for clients who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, or any other traumatic experiences. I work with my clients in areas related to regaining intimacy, communication issues, working past infidelity, re-building trust, adjusting to life changes as a couple (having a child, losing a job, etc), separation/divorce, and so many other issues. I have experience in traditional and non-traditional relationship statuses and am familar with treating couples who are engaged or in a serious relationship.

I am not a "and how does that make you feel" cliche therapist. My goal is to assist you or your loved one in overcoming challenges and viewing things from a different perspective. In my sessions, the client is the expert. There is no one that knows what works and does not work for you better than YOU! We will work as a team as you work diligently toward your goals.
