Over the past ten years, I have been working in the mental health and wellness field. At the root of my practice is a deep belief in the human capacity to change.
I enjoy working in with my clients in helping create a space for safety, skill building, and one where we create solutions together. I work well with individuals and with couples. Additionally, I do work with teens and parents to create healing and solutions. I treat anxiety, depression, relationships, self-confidence/self-esteem issues, and trauma.
I love bringing all of my training together to create a unique experience of therapeutic change for you and your family. I also use traditional therapy approaches, including Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Couples Therapy trained, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I approach each individual with a desire to understand and create solutions.
I’ve found that movement and Mother Nature are some of the greatest healing forces and I enjoy utilizing them in my practice for clients seeking an alternative to the office. My work includes additional training in experiential and adventure therapy. Additionally, I utilize rock climbing (indoor gym and outdoor rock) as tools in the process of growth and healing.
