Growing up as a second-generation Ecuadorian, I know the love, pride, and traditions family brings and the complicated dynamics too. I understand the guilt trips, the pressure to make everyone happy, and the struggle of wanting to honor your culture while breaking unhealthy patterns. I also know how hard it can be to navigate first-generation challenges, from self-esteem struggles to balancing personal goals with family expectations.
I work with adults and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach integrates CBT, psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused techniques, and trauma-informed care. In couples therapy, I use the Gottman Method to help partners strengthen trust, intimacy, and communication.
